You need JavaScript enabled to view it Arc of Butler Blazers Tennis Team The Arc of Butler Blazers tennis team practices from the first week in May through September and participates in 4 local tournaments. Practices are in El Dorado at the Water Works tennis Courts on East Central from 6:30-7:30 on tuesdays and in Andover on thursdays from 6:00-7:00 on the tennis courts behind Andover Central High. Seasonal Parties The Arc of Butler sponsors two seasonal parties for Circle of Friends buddies and Special Education students in Butler County schools. These parties occur in October for Halloween and in February for Valentine's Day. Students participate in games, craft activities, have lunch together, receive prizes and dance. Friday FUN NIGHT- The Arc of Butler Sponsors a Young Adult Club called Arc FUN night that runs during the Andover school district calendar year on friday evenings at Andover Stadium Grounds. Teens and young adults ages 14-25 attend the club from after school until 8:00pm. Participants watch movies, play Wii, do crafts, play games and have dinner together. This provides a social outlet for individuals with special needs and respite care for families. FUN night is coordinated and run by a certified special education teacher and paraeducators. Cost for FUN night is $10 per evening, scholarships are available upon request.
